CS (Game Attendant)

Scope of the Position
This occupation is responsible for monitoring, and attending to amusement park rides, including boarding and securing passengers, starting rides, and ensuring passengers exit safely. Must be aware of pricing of each game/ride check all the arcade equipment and redemption games at the start of the shift to ensure that they work properly.
Summary of Key Functions
- Collect tickets or money for rides.
- Ability to be well versed with every arcade machine at the center.
- Able to assist customer in playing such machines or answer their specific queries.
- Must be aware of pricing of each game.
- Must be trained and aware of every deal and promotional packages.
- Must ensure proper knowledge of every game and ride on floor.
- Check all the arcade equipment and redemption games at the start of the shift to ensure that they are working properly; ensure that faulty machines are reported to the technical team.
- Ensure appropriate number of people can get on rides.
- Patrol the arcade floor and monitor the usage of the arcade equipment.
- Be omnipresent to serve the customer with a smile when asked for help; handle guest inquiries and/or concerns efficiently and cordially.
- Referring difficult situations to supervisor; monitor and endeavor to maintain a clean and safe environment; responsible for the general cleaning of the machines and surrounding area
- Ensure children are the appropriate height and age for rides.
- Board passengers onto ride.
- Explain safety procedures to riders.
- Point out evacuation routes.
- Operate equipment that starts and shuts down ride.
- Pull down safety bars, buckle seat belts, or secure harnesses.
- Inspect equipment to detect wear and tear.
- Stop vehicle and de-board passengers in case of emergencies.
- Clean up debris around ride
- Keep an eye on patrons and their movements to ensure they are not in any danger.
- Enforce all safety regulations and stay current with safety rules and procedures.
- Should always be in a presentable and professional appearance and adhere to hygiene policies and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Pre-University Degree and Above
Experience
- 1 year or less experience

Effort
Amusement and theme parks are favorite recreational spots for families and kids, but behind the fun are serious hazards that require workers to remain alert. Amusement and theme park workers have one of the highest injury, illness, and fatality rates in the industry, so get training on the mechanical hazards associated with rides, lockout/tag out, safe ride operation, and hazard recognition and reporting.
Working conditions
The working schedule of a CS staff is extremely flexible. Working hours per week: 8 Hours Per day, 6 Days a Week. Will be required to work flexible hours as is customary for this nature of business. In some cases, CS staff may need to work longer hours during finals week, intersessions and holiday weekends.
